Because I can, I put one word after another.
Because I can, I ignore the critical voices in my head.
Because I can, I imagine a world beyond what I see.
Because I can, I write short sophomoric poems on web pages.
You wouldn't know I was a writer to read the things I've written. But I keep doing it, so I guess I'm a "writer." Things I've written range from extremely bad poetry to essays about the software industry to mildly funny short stories (or at least I think they're funny.)
Here are a few inspired by my life in the American west...
- A FEW SENTENCES REGARDING HAROLD H. HARRIS, SHERIFF OF MADRE DE LA CRUZ, ARIZONA TERRITORY AND EDITOR OF THE MADRE MONITOR, SOUTHERN ARIZONA'S PREFERRED WEEKLY NEWSPAPER
- CLEBURNE, TEXAS
- GROWING CORN
And a few normal stories...
And a few stories inspired by actual events...
